The Kifisia Children's Library SEARCH is set up and operates as a welcoming environment that inspires every child to visit it to read, listen, see, and relax. In addition to the books, music and the works of Greek and international artists displayed in rotating posters, create the ideal atmosphere for reading.

Our goal is for the children to be able to operate the Library themselves, knowing the rules, the book classification system, the borrowing process, and even participate in its operation by reading to other children. We believe that children want to take initiative and feel responsible for their 'roles', and the Library encourages this.

Our aim is to create readers of the future and thoughtful adults. Without restrictions, the child can decide on their own which book they want to read or borrow.

The educational programs we organize aim not only to provide new knowledge, but also to foster a broader understanding of what is happening around us and to cultivate critical thinking, that will lead children to draw their own conclusions.
