The Library’s children won the 1st Prize for Directing at the 6th Panhellenic Student Competition "Child & Cinema". The Organizers were: Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA), Basil & Eliza Goulandris Museum, Greek Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), OPUS, Organization for the Promotion of Culture, Panagiotis and Efi Michelis Foundation and Melissa Publishing House.
Participation in the two-day conference, organized by the Norwegian Embassy in Greece at the Hellenic American Union in September, entitled: "The role of Libraries in the lives of children and adolescents. Greek-Norwegian meeting of specialists in Children's Libraries, Publishers and Translators".
Participation in the Pilot Program of the Ministry of Culture of Cyprus (Department of Contemporary Culture) "Literacy Routes in Libraries", as a presenting body on the topic "Working with programs in the Library".
Participation in the event of the Network for the Rights of the Child in collaboration with the Book Publishers Association, within the framework of the 52nd Book Festival at Pedion tou Areos, on the topic "Does adolescence belong in the Library?"
Participation as a speaker in the conference of the electronic magazine "Red Fox" on children's books on the topic: "Reading aloud in the Library".
Participation in the Municipal Libraries Conference, as a speaker, on the topic: "Creating readers through actions and workshops in children's departments".
Participation of two groups of children from the Library (primary school and teenagers), as a jury in the Kinderdocs International Creative Documentary Festival.

The Library won the "Pantelis and Christos Alefantos" Prize by the Greek section of IBBY - Greek Book Circle for its entire body of work.
Organization of a speech by Professor of History at the National University of Athens, Maria Efthymiou, on the topic: "Hellenism: its strong points in 3,500 years of recorded history".
